Join the UNIVEN Student Women Economic Empowerment Programme (SWEEP) Chapter for 2025/26. We are looking for young, dynamic student women who are proactive, innovative and interested in entrepreneurship, employability and sisterhood circle.

Apply for leadership roles in the SWEEP 2026 Executive Team (7 Positions)
Lead the executive team, represent SWEEP at university events, and oversee program implementation
Support the Chairlady, oversee daily operations, and coordinate between executive members
Manage documentation, record meeting minutes, and handle official correspondence
Handle finances, budgeting, fundraising, and financial reporting for SWEEP activities
Manage communications, publicity, social media, and brand visibility for SWEEP
Build relationships, establish partnerships, and coordinate community engagement
Organize events, workshops, and programs for SWEEP members and the university community
Who can apply for SWEEP Executive positions
Currently enrolled as a female student at University of Venda for the 2025 academic year
2025 must NOT be your final year of study (you should be returning in 2026)
Demonstrate creativity, innovative thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset with resilience and determination
Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate with diverse individuals
Flexible with good time management skills to balance studies and leadership role
Have good verbal and written communication skills in English
Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and interest in economic empowerment
